If all windows are inoperative, verify the master window lockout switch and test the 30A main power window fuse. If only one window has failed, compare operation across both switches, check for fractured wires inside the flexible rubber door-jamb boot, and perform an in-line voltage drop test at the 2-pin motor connector. If the motor hums but the glass does not move, replace the regulator and cable assembly.
